About the Role
Starter Section Chef As a Starter Section Chef, you'll take ownership of the entrée section during service, ensuring every dish leaves the pass looking and tasting exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Entrée (Starter) section during service
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality antipasti and entrée dishes
- Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation standards
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are upheld
About You
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Section Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment (Italian experience highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge and passion for entrée and antipasti preparation
- Ability to perform calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant food safety certification
- A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and high-quality produce
