    An exciting opportunity exists for a highly self-motivated Psychologist to join Student Support Services (SSS) working in the Department of Education (DE) Inner East Area. SSS Psychologists work in multidisciplinary team to support students, families, teachers and schools. You will utilise current evidence based high quality programs and strategies to be able to influence and build the capability of teachers and schools to support the learning/wellbeing of their students and work collaboratively with other professionals in respect to complex cases. Flexibility, the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and the capability to work autonomously when required are key requirements for this position.

    Inner East Student Support services is looking for a highly self-motivated psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, and behaviour analysts. As part of an area-based Health Wellbeing and Inclusion Workforce (HWIW) you will work collaboratively to help build the capability of schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing and support schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress towards their educational goals and developmental potential.

    This position is based within the Student Support Services Inner East Team, North East Victoria Region, Glen Waverley Office

    0.8FTE fixed term until 31st January 2025

    Required: A graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology and Full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)and possess a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
