- Completion of quality control and production records and administration
- Ensure pre-start checklists are completed
- Collect and segregate scrap, trim and other materials as required
- Adhere to company WHS and environmental policies
- Use of forklift to load and unload stock of plant, equipment and vehicles
- Daily use of overhead cranes to load and unload trucks
- Manual handling duties up to 15-20kg
- Proven experience working in a similar steel manufacturing environment
- Current forklift and crane license would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong commitment to work with the right attitude
- Ability to multitask and work towards deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to following WHS protocols and participation
- Effective communication and teamwork ability
- Must be willing to conduct pre-employment and drug & alcohol test prior to start

Our client is an Australian manufacturer of steel wire welded mesh for industries such as mining, construction, fabrication, safety, storage, temporary fencing and material handling. Due to the increase in demand and company growth, they are looking for multiple machine operators with steel background to join their team in Glendenning.
