- Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week)
- Duration: 1 year contract beginning January 2024
- Remuneration: Level 5 $82,818 – $93,711 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
- Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Working)
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and progressing towards a CA or CPA Qualification is desirable.
- Prior work experience and demonstrated success in the Accounts Receivable function within a large and complex corporate environment
- Demonstrated understanding of financial controls, accounting processes and experience in applying policy and guidelines
- Experience in managing customer expectations and appropriately responding to customer needs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to inform, persuade and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a high-volume environment, to meet organisational expectations and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines, adopting a commitment to providing excellent customer service. knowledge of computer applications and experience in enterprise financial systems (e.g. PeopleSoft)
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver results in line with required deadlines and quality parameters.

Why Your Role Matters:
The role of the Accounts Receivable Officer provides day-to-day Accounts Receivable services such as the collection of cash, management of debtors and the implementation of efficient Accounts Receivable processes to ensure the efficient and effective completion of Accounts Receivable operational functions in accordance with policy.
The role of the Accounts Receivable Officer reports to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead and has no direct reports.
