ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual looking to commence a career in engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable on the job professional civil engineering experience while completing your tertiary studies.
Reporting to Council's Operations Engineer - Roads, you will be a member of a professional team motivated to deliver quality civil works programs and projects for Council and the community. The role provides the opportunity to be mentored by professional engineers in a challenging fast-paced working environment.
In this role you will learn on the job and complete the study component of the degree primarily outside of standard working hours. All costs associated with compulsory course fees and requirements whilst undertaking this course with Council form part of the support provided to you in this role. This is a temporary position that will cease upon successful completion or your tertiary studies and on the job training.
