    The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) provides a range of services to support approximately 2,500 staff in 45 vibrant and dynamic Catholic school communities that serve more than 18,000 students. The CSO assists schools to build teaching and leadership capabilities in communities of professional educators who share responsibility for school improvement and for achieving the best outcomes for our students.

    IT School Support Officer (Hastings)

    This position will be located in Port Macquarie

    Full time permanent position. Start date to be negotiated. Working school terms only.

    Work Requirements

    • A current/valid Australian Driver's Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of the appointment
    • Requirement to travel between locations
    • Will be required to attend work for four days during the school holiday period per annum. This is to attend all staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant qualification at certificate level or above; and/or experience providing technical support to users in an organisational setting
    • ITIL 4 Certification.

    Key Capabilities

    • Proven experience in IT service delivery
    • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Knowledge of IT service management tools (e.g., Freshservice, Helpdesk).

    • Knowledge of WHS and equity principles in the workplace.
    • Respect and uphold the ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of the Employer.
