    About the role:

    The Hostplus Intermediary Distribution team is responsible for establishing strong, mutually beneficial relationships with external financial advisers and strategic business partners.

    Recognizing the crucial role financial advisers play in shaping our members' retirement outcomes, we strive to simplify the process for externally licensed advisers to collaborate with Hostplus.

    As a Business Development Officer, your main responsibilities will include providing advanced administrative and coordination support to the business development function of the team, facilitating engagement, growth, and retention of external distribution partners through various channels and partnerships.

    Key responsibilities and primary functions:

    • Offer expert guidance and training on products, systems, and internal processes to distribution partners
    • Establish and nurture relationships with intermediary distribution partners and their support teams, aiding Business Development Managers in the onboarding and management of adviser relationships
    • Develop personalized support plans for designated distribution partner relationships
    • Collaborate with product and marketing experts to ensure relevant communications and materials for advisers are current and effective
    • Coordinate communication and events for distribution partners
    • Compile weekly and monthly activity reports and KPI reporting
    • Provide precise administrative support including data entry, formatting, document compilation, and assist in distribution partner reporting
    • Support third party advisories with product and client requests
    • Identify growth opportunities for Hostplus and support Business Development Managers in conversion
    • Represent Hostplus at industry events and conferences as needed

    About you:

    We are looking for a dynamic candidate with experience in the financial services sector, particularly intermediary distribution in superannuation, wealth management, or related fields.

    • Possess exceptional communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
    • Show attention to detail and expertise in product guidance for superior partner support
