    Description

    Purpose of Role
    QTC's Advisory Division aims to enhance financial sustainability and operational excellence for various government entities in Queensland.
    The team within the Advisory Division's Education and Skills Team collaborates with government departments to drive better financial outcomes and deliver impactful solutions.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities
    - Work as part of a team to define and develop projects for the Education and Skills portfolio
    - Lead project execution and take ownership of project components
    - Engage in problem definition, financial analysis, process understanding, and improvement recommendations
    - Conduct financial modeling and interpret models
    - Communicate outcomes effectively through written reports and presentations
    - Actively participate in self-development through continuous learning and seeking growth opportunities
    - Demonstrate a diverse skill set essential for business success
    - Apply critical thinking and creativity to solve complex problems
    - Adapt communication and approach based on the situation
    - Possess negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills suitable for various stakeholders

    Qualifications
    - Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
    Experience
    Essential
    - Minimum 6 years of experience in roles related to management consulting and corporate finance
    - Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
    - Engaging and persuasive communication style
    - Relationship management skills and ability to build partnerships
    - Proficient in report writing, financial analysis, and Power Point skills
    Desirable
    - Experience in consulting or advisory services
    - Background in education, skills/training, or social service sectors
