    Zoos Victoria is seeking an experienced Retail Merchandise Planner to be part of our Retail Merchandise team, located at our corporate office at Melbourne Zoo. Retail at Zoos Victoria is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a specialist merchandise planner to help support the Merchandise Buyer with detail orientated data driven and insightful plans that help meet and exceed targets.

    This position is key to maximizing Zoos Victoria's retail metrics including revenue, inventory, GMROI and margins. Working closely with the Retail Business Manager and Merchandise Buyer to develop and execute short- and long-term plans for driving trade as well as providing accurate, timely analysis, insight, decision making and support to the overall merchandise team.

    The Merchandise Planner will bring a passion for retail, and positive, open mindset.

    Experience:

    Minimum 3 years' experience in merchandise Planning with exposure to multi store trade within the Retail industry

    Exposure to high volume trading and complex SKU ranges

    Advanced Excel proficiency.

    Strong analytical skills are essential for this role with ability to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

    An understanding of RMS Pos and Back-end system whilst not essential would be an advantage
