    Description

    The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is a statutory agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats and advances our national interests through the provision of foreign signals intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations as directed by the Australian Government.

    ASD requires 2 x Project Support Officers (SFIA 3 equivalent).

    The Project Support Officer (PSO) will play an active role in managing packages of work, schedule dependencies, project documentation, procurement, and providing administrative support.

    The PSO will play an important role in project planning, risk and issue management, helping to drive projects forward to achieve outcomes for a diverse range of customers.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities · Assist with project planning, delivery and work package management. · Assist with development and maintenance of key project artefacts, including the project schedule. · Support the implementation and maintenance of appropriate information management and record keeping practices. · Assist with capturing and coordinating project tasks and actions. · Assist with risk, issue and dependency management. · Procure ICT-related goods and services.

    · Work collaboratively and constructively as part of an Agile delivery team to ensure the timely delivery of a quality ICT capability.

    · Work with fellow team members to improve team business processes and share knowledge.

    Job Skills and Qualifications · Ability to prioritise work · Ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders · Demonstrated ICT project support competencies · Experience procuring goods and services on behalf of the Australia government Other requirements · Candidates require a Positive Vetting (PV) or have held a PV in the previous 12 months which has since been downgraded to NV2, to perform the role.

    · Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
