    As part of the Wealth and Private division, the Insurance Retail and Advice Partnerships Crew have end-to-end responsibility for CommBank's partnerships with AIA, Hollard and Petsure. We support the proprietary digital and frontline sales and service teams to meet our customers' needs for Insurance and Retail Advice.

    Our function sits within the wider Retail Banking Services (RBS), the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future of our 10 million + customers.

    Your Impact and Contribution

    As an Insights Analytics Manager in the Insurance Retail and Advice Crew, your remit will be within the General Insurance squad and will work towards ideating and implementing solutions that engage, retain our continually support our existing GI customers through thoughtful education, effortless claims processing, and seamless renewals through outstanding customer service.

    To achieve this, will partner with highly specialised squads and crew leads in the Insurance and Retail Advice field, to listen to our customers, analyse key data sets from multiple complex sources, and support the build of data-driven strategies that will deliver measurably positive outcomes for our customers and partners. In summary, your role may include, but won't be limited to;
    • Regularly liaising and collaborating with internal/external business stakeholders and partners to influence product design, features, pricing, and policy to ensure they meet our customers' needs.
    • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to requirement gather and consult on data insights and strategy.
    • Support, mentor and continuously develop a high performing team of Analysts and Snr Analysts.
    • Drive key projects focused on Retention, Renewals or other business-critical customer engagement strategies.
    • Contribute to the design of the team's multi-year tech and delivery strategy.
    • Support the management of and adherence to the data analytics governance and best practice methodologies
    About You

    The ideal candidate will be a values driven, suitably experienced Insights Analytics Manager with demonstrable success in leading high performing teams. You will have an outstanding customer focus aligned with our Group strategy of NPS 30+, and be adept at cultivating a work environment that fosters innovation, celebrates diversity and are leaders in data driven solutioning.

    Further key skills required for this role include;
    • Advanced data wrangling, analysis and presentation skills using SQL and Tableau or PowerBI.
    • Clear and effective communication, stakeholder partnering and positive influencing skills.
    • Competence at delivering insights to multiple stakeholder communities in a format that is digestible and relevant to the consumers.
    • Ability to navigate through ambiguity to understand key requirement drivers and assess best outcomes for stakeholders.
    • Analytical and problem-solving capability
    • Ability to balance risk, customer, and business performance outcomes.
