    Description

    Senior Civil Designer

    We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer for a full-time or contract role.

    You will be a valued senior member of our civil team and responsible for design and documentation from the schematic stage through to detailed documentation of a wide range of Civil projects.

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD and either 12D or Civil 3D software.
  • Coordination with clients, other consultants, internal engineers, senior civil designers, and draftspersons for the documentation of civil engineering projects.
  • Planning and completion of design projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.

    • This is a full-time position and requires a self-motivated, team orientated individual, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.

    Key skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Relevant industry experience, ideally 3+ years'
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, 12D software, and or Civil 3D.
  • A sound knowledge of construction methods and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong design capabilities and knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes and local government authorities.
  • Experience within a consultancy environment will be highly regarded
  • TAFE qualification - Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree or similar equivalent industry experience.
