    We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our client, a local council in Sydney, for a 3-month contract opportunity. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of their critical database systems.

    About The Role

    As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of various databases, including Oracle (11g and 12c) and SQL Server 2008 onwards. You'll work closely with the IT team to ensure data integrity, implement best practices, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

    Here's What You'll Bring To The Table

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in database administration, including Oracle (11g and 12c) and SQL Server 2008 onwards.
    • Proven experience in SQL coding and familiarity with SQL Server versions 2008 R2 / 2012 and above.
    • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or an equivalent qualification.
    • Experience working in a local government environment is highly regarded.
