    Join a pioneering force in the agronomy industry, dedicated to enhancing the production and sustainability of Avocado and Macadamia farms around Bundaberg.

    About the Opportunity

    This is an exceptional chance for commercial, R&D, or production agronomists, as well as those working on family or corporate farms in the horticulture sector, to transition into a fully independent agronomy business.

    Our innovative approach focuses on providing holistic services to growers without the burden of chemical or fertilizer 'monkey on their back.'

    As an Independent Agronomist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with growers, becoming a vital component of their business, and offering tailored solutions to improve production while ensuring economic and sustainable practices.

    About the Role

    • Develop and implement crop protection and nutrition plans tailored to each grower's needs.
    • Construct informative reports and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Offer technical guidance and support directly to growers.
    • Liaise with key industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date with new technologies.

    You will be based out of Bundaberg and work from a home office, engaging with the local community as required. Your role will also involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support current and future client relationships.

    About You

    We are seeking an individual with tertiary qualifications in agricultural science and/or agronomy, along with at least 3 years of experience as a horticultural agronomist in Australia or New Zealand.

    A happy and positive demeanor, combined with a proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to growers, will be highly valued.
