    Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

    Wesley College Melbourne are seeking casual Examination Supervisors to assist with upcoming assessments, this position is based at our Glen Waverley Campus. Key qualities are punctuality, reliability, maturity, and interpersonal skills. It is also necessary that all staff be able to sign the VCAA statutory declaration as shown below in addition to having a current Working with Children's Check.

    Key dates:

    Initial briefing: Friday, 24 May from 1:30 pm (essential)

    GAT examination: Tuesday,18 June from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (essential)

    Other examination blocks with staffing on a rostering system:

    • Wed 5 June to Mon 17 June – Internal exams (AM and PM sessions).
    • Mon 15 July to Friday 19 July – Internal exams (AM and PM sessions).
    • Mon 30 Sept. To Fri 4 Oct. – Internal exams (AM and PM sessions).
    • Mon 21 Oct. To Mon 2 Dec. - External and Internal exams (AM and PM sessions).

    VCAA statutory declaration requirements:

    As an Assistant Supervisor, I am not:

    (i) Related to, or associated with, any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at the school where I am employed.

    (ii) Teaching any student required to sit the GAT or teaching any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024.

    (iii) Tutoring a student required to sit the GAT or tutoring a student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at the school where I am employed.

    (iv) Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT, or any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment* materials at the school where I am employed.

    (v) Employed by the school as a teacher (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff.
