    Claims Officer

    We are expanding our Claims team and are seeking a Claims Officer to join us at efm Logistics, the largest 4PL provider in Australia & NZ.

    The role involves assisting with the timely resolution of claims with our carrier partners through administration support and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

    Duties:

    1. Manage claim inputs from Billing team: Review and verify the accuracy of claim data, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
    2. Manage the Claims inbox: Prioritise and respond to claims-related inquiries, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
    3. Train and develop the Billing team: Provide guidance and coaching to enhance their knowledge and skills, driving process improvements and reducing errors.
    4. Convert claims into carrier formats: Translate claims data into formats that add value to our carrier partners, fostering stronger relationships and improving service delivery.
    5. Maintain the Claims register and submit claims: Ensure all claims are accurately recorded and submitted to carrier partners in a timely manner, complete with a clear summary to inform decision-making.
    6. Process credit notes and resolve invoicing issues: Timely processing of credit notes, including review and resolution of invoicing and credit note related issues, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders: Proactive communication and follow-up to efficiently resolve all claims matters with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a positive experience.
    8. Statement of Account reconciliations: Accurately reconcile statements of account, resolving discrepancies and ensuring financial integrity.

    • Intermediate MS Office skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, supporting effective documentation and communication.
    • Time management and organisational skills: Excellent ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of organisation.
    • Successful track record of problem-solving: A proven history of successfully resolving complex problems and driving continuous improvement projects.
