    Excellent opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst / Lead who enjoys being hands-on and has experience in Health applications

    • Test Specialist | Queensland Health Highly Desirable
    • Based in Brisbane | Some WFH - No Remote
    • Approx. $110-120/hour | 6 month contract + potential extentions

    As the Test Specialist you will be you will be leading the Testing on a program within Queensland Health that is currently delivering a range of exciting ICT application initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Formulate test plans which include determination of test scope, approach, appropriate methodologies, and planning for delivery of key test deliverables and resourcing of the test lifecycle.
    • Implement test plans and coordinate deliverables associated to test phase activities (integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation testing).
    • Where required develop test case traceability, test collateral, execute test cases, record test results, and report defects.
    • Assist in the coordination of defect triage and defect management activities.
    • Provide test progress-against-plan updates, and assist with test summary reporting and acceptance sign-off.
    • Support and observe test environment, configuration, and release management controls.
    • Manage and support test collateral and processes with the clinical and non-clinical staff, in close collaboration with the project team including SMEs, integration partners and suppliers.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and build strong relationships to ensure successful testing outcomes and project success.

    Mandatory qualifications / professional registrations / other role requirements:

    • Experience in Test Coordination and Test Analyst roles at a senior level, combined with a good understanding and expertise of Queensland Health systems and processes.
    • Hands-on experience of system testing, system integration testing, UAT, and PVT is favourable.
    • Experience or exposure to Menu Management system, Facilities Management systems, Sleep and Respiratory systems and processes, as well as HBCIS, Patient Flow Manager (Kyra Flow) and ieMR is highly regarded.
    • ISTQB certification is required.
    • Experience with Jira and Zephyr is highly regarded.
    • Attention to detail is a must, and an ability to build strong relationships, and communicate with both technical and non-technical communities would be advantageous.
    • A self-starter who can provide testing expertise in the context of healthcare solutions, and that can lean-in to support a myriad of testing activities will be favourably considered, as will a 'delivery focus' and a 'can-do' attitude.
