- Utilising data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse operational performance and perform root cause analysis.
- Setting strategic direction and priorities for the portfolio area in line with Agency priorities and national/branch action plans.
- Developing and delivering optimisation initiatives to support service improvement and performance in line with strategic objectives.
- Ensuring all optimisation activities consider opportunities to enhance the experiences for participants, providers, partners and agency staff using an integrated approach.
- Preparing and managing a range of written material including business cases, Senate Estimate submissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs, and other corporate documentation. Requirements
- Australian Citizenship (required)
- Experience leading PMO, Transformation or large programs of work
- Proven end to end portfolio delivery experience with strength in ownership of program reporting and schedule management
- Formal project management certifications

About the Role
The Service Design Division works on process, platform, and practice solutions to address Agency priorities. The division embeds co-design and a stakeholder-view of change into our ways of working, ensuring that our designs represent the greatest value to different audiences. In line with the Participant Service Charter principles, the division drives transparency into Agency decision-making through the consistency of the processes we design, the written guidance and communication. Our primary goal of all design is to improve how participants interact with the Agency.
