    With recent internal moves and a scale up phase underway, we have an exciting role now available in our ever evolving Safety and Wellbeing team.

    You will partner with operational leaders to provide and maintain a safe working and shopping environment for our team members, customers, visitors and contractors.

    You will lead the technical and subject matter expertise component of the team to ensure our systems, processes, data and documentation is fit for purpose and meets our internal and external requirements.

    The role is also responsible for the ongoing improvement in how we manage, monitor and ultimately control our safety, health and wellbeing risks across the Supermarkets business.

    Working collaboratively across the Safety, Health and Wellbeing team as well as other key stakeholders, you will lead and deliver ongoing improvements in performance, management of key risks and execution of strategies, plans and improvements programs.


    What you'll do:
    Lead a team of subject matter and technical experts to continue to improve safety, health and wellbeing performance across the Supermarkets business
    Develop, refine and deliver safety, health and wellbeing systems and processes which meet and ultimately exceed the required internal and external requirements and drive continuous improvement
    Ensure the Supermarkets business meets its ongoing safety, health and wellbeing legislative requirements, this includes but not limited to regulatory reporting requirements
    Overall management of the safety, health and wellbeing data, analytics and insights, including reporting and data integrity.
    This includes the evolution of safety, health and wellbeing performance metrics, including lead and lag indicators
    Lead delivery of accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders with a commitment that every piece of data tells a story, proactively identifying opportunities to improve how we measure performance

    What you'll bring:
    This role requires you to leverage your full internal toolkit and bring to the table strategic thinking, a passion for innovation and in-depth knowledge of retail process and supplier mechanics to deliver improvements within this consistently evolving space10+ years safety, health and wellbeing experience in FMCG, retail, customer focused, fast paced business is preferred
    Strong technical safety, health and wellbeing skills and experience, including systems, reporting, risk and project management
    A demonstrated track record of building and developing teams, extensive previous leadership experience
    A strong track record of measurable achievements in previous safety, health and wellbeing roles
