- Current registration with the Australian Health Regulation Agency ("AHPRA") as a Division 1 Registered Nurse;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in the applicable healthcare team speciality
- Advanced level clinical and problem solving skills

About the role
Mater Private Hospital Mackay has an exceptional opportunity for an experience Clinical Nurse on a permanent full-time basis. This role will have a strong Surgical component with an interest in Women's Health and Paediatrics. The successful person will also be required to do the post-natal course to be able to support the midwives.

Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

Salary range: $49.88- $53.43 per hour (RN Level 2) plus super plus access to generous salary packaging
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse (CN) position provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
This role works autonomously within the relevant healthcare team speciality and structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of specialist nursing care. The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research. The role supports in management activities including portfolio responsibilities where applicable.
