    Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory

    Job Type: Full-time

    Job Description:

    We have an exciting opportunity within our Glazing Division to hire a Purchasing Manager who will serve as a Business Partner with our Operations team for end-to-end management of Fleet, Supply Chain & Property.

    The ideal candidate will provide critical support to the O'Brien Glass Operations team with industry-leading fleet management and body refurbishments, flexible and efficient supply chain function, and footprint strategy implementation.

    About the Role:

    • Fleet Management:
      • Negotiate and maintain current fleet leases
      • Manage commercial fleet replenishment, vehicle asset management, and refurbishment
      • Compliance, cost management, and fleet utilisation performance monitoring
    • Supply Chain:
      • Bulk Glass Purchasing & Supply Chain Management - Local & Import
      • Supply Planning, Vendor & Supplier Management, Customs & Import Compliance, Inventory Control, Logistics Coordination, Local Supplier Management
    • Property:
      • Implement and maintain our Footprint Strategy, Site Assessment & Risk Analysis, Lease Negotiation & Management, Building Fit-out
      • Liaise with trades and property managers
    • Capex:
      • Business Case Development
    • Sustainability:
      • Identify opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions and landfill and mitigate risks of Modern Slavery in the supply chain

    About You:

    • Degree-qualified, preferably with recognised qualifications in a commercial or purchasing field
    • At least 5 years' experience in a similar purchasing function, including a strong fleet management background
    • Commercial vehicle body builders and property leasing knowledge preferred
    • Operationally focused with strong communication and collaboration skills
    • A highly skilled negotiator with very strong commercial acumen
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and inspire belief in the purchasing function
    • Demonstrated ability to link implementation of purchasing initiatives to profitable growth
