    Description

    A full-time permanent role within a well-established accounting firm based in inner-south Sydney (near Airport). For a senior accountant interested in assisting with tax preparation, compliance, and financial analysis in a public practice accounting firm, contributing to the smooth operation of the firm's tax-related services.

    • Requires Tax Accounting experience
    • Based in Inner-South Suburbs of Sydney (near the airport)

    Your normal day will have you:

    • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
    • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
    • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
    • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
    • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
    • Engaging with and servicing clients to meet or exceed their expectations
    • Investigating and resolving account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
    • Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
    • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
    • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
