    About the role

    1. Governance and Documentation: Lead and maintain the Terms of Reference, ensuring Stakeholder Group members operate in accordance with the set governance arrangements. the team focus and achievement on program performance targets, aimed at delivering the best quality service to young people. Deliver well written meeting documentation and recordkeeping to project manage the workplan and associated actions with members.
    2. Communication and Engagement: Lead the direct proactive engagement of Stakeholder Group members, ensuring preparation and active participation at Stakeholder Group forums each month. Troubleshoot concerns early from members, seeking feedback and advice on critical issues with General Manager. Communicate successes and milestones of the project and update members regularly through various communication methods.
    3. Meeting Coordination and Event Management: Lead the organisation of every Stakeholder Group meeting, pulling together agendas in line with the Workplan and actions from previous forums. Action all required activities to ensure workplace milestones are met. Coordinate logistics and manage each event, ensuring smooth operation.
    4. Workplan and Project Management: In consultation with Stakeholder Group members, lead the development of a comprehensive workplan and associated project management plan. Ensure all milestones are completed within required timeframe.
    5. Organisational Contributions: Support fellow staff in a positive team environment to build collegiality and a sense of belongingness within the branch and ATSICHS family. Actively align behaviours and leadership style to the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

    Duties

    1. Terms or Reference: Lead and maintain the Terms of Reference, ensuring Stakeholder Group members operate in accordance with the set governance arrangements.
    2. Meeting Documentation and Recordkeeping: Lead all meeting documentation and recordkeeping across the entire project and forum meetings.
    3. Stakeholder Group Member Engagement: Proactively engagewith members of the ASICCOE Stakeholder Group, ensuring engagement occurs between forum meetings and actively engage all members to participate fully.
    4. Broader ATSICCOE Member Communication Updates: Lead the communication of updates with all members, ensuring communications are clear and concise.
    5. Meeting Coordination and Event Management: Lead the organisation of every Stakeholder Group meeting, pulling together agendas in line with the Workplan and actions from previous forums. Action all required activities to ensure workplace milestones are met. Coordinate logistics and manage each event, ensuring smooth operation.
    6. Project Management: Manage multiple projects, work packages and activities against deadlines and aim to ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed the expectations.
    7. Workplan and Research: Provide high-level background research of sector-identified challenges in delivering early years services. Integrate findings into workplan and sector forums.
    8. Quality Management: Commit to a high level of quality management for ATSICHS through use of LogiQC quality management systems and MobNet tasks
    9. Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels, which support the nurturing of internal and external relationships, facilitates cooperation, trust and respect, values differences and diversity and guides, mentors and focuses on the development of staff.

    Essential

    Qualification and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma qualification in Education (Primary or Early Years)/ Early Years Development/ Social Work/ Human Services/ Policy/ Project Management/ or relevant field related to early years OR policy/project management.

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Strong project management and writing skills.

    Desirable, but not essential:

    • Experience in early years services or working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Requirement to travel across Queensland for each monthly Stakeholder Group Meeting.
    • Current drivers' licence
    • Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply
