    About the service

    The service is centrally located, close to public transport and shops. There is a dedicated parking spot for the 2IC/Assistant Director. With less than 90 children at full occupancy, this role is manageable and comes with less stress than some of the larger centres in the area.

    We are looking for a strong, aspiring, or experienced leader with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.

    About the role

    This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to take up a genuine leadership role, working with a team keen to embed a unique culture of respect, professionalism, community focus and fun into the centre.

    Your day-to-day tasks include:

    • Assist the Centre Manager with managing day-to-day operations.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
    • Upholding consistent, high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
    • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning programs by our passionate educators.
    • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
    • Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effectively managing tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.

    About you

    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Previous experience as an Assistant Centre Manager of at least one year.
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or above), First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
    • Substantial experience working in an LDC environment with an understanding of the business aspects of Centre performance.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
