The Wedderburn Tavern is a bustling historic bar and restaurant serving the locals of Maniototo since 1885. Open 7 days a week from 11am - 10pm we are looking for an experienced head chef who wants to continually create and evolve seasonal menus sourcing local ingredients to satisfy our wonderful clientele.
The Tavern accommodates an amazing group of locals, many road travelers passing by plus foreign and domestic tourists on the Central Otago Rail Trail.
Outside of the tavern is a function facility to accommodate weddings/birthdays & other events. Experience in menu creation and catering for large events is necessary.
Peak season Oct-April, off season May-Sep.

40-50 hours per week
Accommodation available for the right applicant
Very competitive hourly remuneration + monthly incentive bonus
