    About the role

    We are looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinatorwith NV2 or PV security clearance for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the facility including electrical and mechanical systems.

    About you

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    Manage all applicable contractors to ensure they deliver best practice maintenance services in line with CIOG Data Centre Strategy.

    • Participation in a successful on-call roster arrangement (supporting of the core goals of data centre uptime of critical plant Chillers, UPS, generators and customer remote hands requests).
    • Work collaboratively project staff and service delivery to ensure seamless maintenance and positive tenant experience.
    • Assist with the Facility Rules for the facility and ensure compliance by all stakeholders.
    • Regular audits of plant and procedures to maintain current standards.
    • Assist with the negotiation and management of maintenance contracts with SEG and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety standards and practices.
    • Ensure that facility critical plant problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner via coordination with Base services.
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs) via IOF maintenance register.
    • Document regular testing of relevant core equipment and record results and procedures (planned Maintenance) in cooperation with operations standards (MOPs).


    Requirements:

    • Strong working knowledge of Defence Standards including Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Cabling Standard (DCS), Defence Communications Room Standard (DCRS), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) – ESSENTIAL.
    • Understanding of Australian Standards applicable to an ICT facility and communication infrastructure environment; including knowledge of: AS/NZS 3000, S008, S009 and AS/NZS 11801– ESSENTIAL.
    • A thorough understanding of Defence security protocols, including associated documentation such as PSPF, ISM, and DSM – ESSENTIAL.
    • An ability to comfortably engage with external stakeholders within a government environment, up to and including Band level – ESSENTIAL.
    • 2+ years of experience working on Defence capital facilities projects or working in the sustainment of a Defence ICT facility– ESSENTIAL.
    • Experience working with or designing critical infrastructure for Defence ICT systems– ESSENTIAL.
    • An ability to prepare briefs and reports in an articulate manner, both verbally and in written form – ESSENTIAL.
    • Negative Vetting 1 , NV2 Or Top Secret (Positive Vetting) .
