    Aboutthe role

    This positionis responsible for taking appropriate compliance and enforcementaction on any breaches and will participate in coaching, mentoring,and training to ensure appropriate and sufficient skill andknowledge are developed to be effective in addressingnoncompliance. The position will work within the Regulation Team toensure flexibility in resource allocation to achieve outcomesacross the unit, teams, and council and assist with theimplementation of an unregistered animal survey of the Townsvillearea.

    A PatrolOfficer will build and maintain key working customer to supplierrelationships, deliver efficient and effective patrol services toensure consistent presence within the community and ensure openspaces are being used appropriately for a variety of users. Thisposition will provide "subject matter expertise" on thetype, level, frequency, and outcome of patrols in the city andinvestigate customer enquiries whilst implementing correctiveactions or advice where appropriate.

    Aboutyou

    Our idealapplicant will have the following:

  • Cert III in an investigatory, regulatory, or local government discipline or the ability to acquire.
  • Current unrestricted Queensland "C" class driver's license
  • Child Suitability (Blue Card) or ability to obtain.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications
  • Experience in Technology One, software applicants or other similar local government business management systems
  • You will berequired to demonstrate investigation skills, including gatheringand presenting evidence whilst having experience in makingsustainable, subjective assessments relating to investigationsusing experience and training. You will be required to haveadvanced interpersonal, written, oral, organisational andcommunication skills.
