Our client, a leading software house is seeking a talented Snowflake Developer to join one of their exciting projects for an initial 6 month basis, with a great chance of extension.

A hybrid work environment of from home and their Melbourne office, you would get to work on a large scale implementation project, with further pieces of work lined up. Working across data visualisation, ETL, databases, data warehouses and scripting, this is an opening where two days are never quite the same

Responsibilities

• Utilise Snowflake and other technologies to create data workloads
• Developer frameworks and solutions to streamline processes
• Liaise with stakeholders to understand new requirements.
• Create scripts and interactive dashboards
• Collaborate with the squad to tackle problems as they occur.
  
  

An ideal candidate will have;

• Good experience with Snowflake and similar technologies
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
• Great understanding of the ETL process
• Utilised data visualisation tools like Domo, Power BI, or Tableau
• Knowledge integrating with APIs
• Created Python scripts
• A solid grasp on data lake and warehouse concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Decent stakeholder management skills
• Full working rights for Australia (no sponsorship available).
  
  

As this is a hybrid role, you need to be able to work in Melbourne 2 or 3 days a week.
