    About the Role

    In this role you will oversee ABC Kids listen team to produce an exceptional slate of audio content for young audiences and families.

    Under broad direction of Head of Children and Family you will drive and implement strategies to build new audiences for Kids listen whilst prioritising and optimising on demand content across owned and third party platforms.


    You will also:


    Contribute to the quality and distinctiveness of the ABC by leading the strategic delivery of high-quality, innovative production focused on audience engagement.

    Provide guidance and creative feedback to producers whilst creating and managing workflows whilst supervising production and performing management tasks.

    Oversee and contribute to the production of short form audio series and content campaigns that are sophisticated, original, and relevant to young audiences and families.

    Co-ordinate and maintain a cross-platform discoverability strategy for ABC Kids Listen content and campaigns across broadcast and digital platforms, maximising the distribution of content across relevant platforms.

    About You

    We are seeking an Executive Producer with proven experience in shaping the direction of a high profile, innovative audio slate.

    You have an ability to lead a team to deliver engaging and distinctive audio and digital content for young audiences and families – fitting into their routines and lives whilst also surprising them.


    You will also have:
    Outstanding editorial, project management and people management skills.
    Ability to originate, plan and manage the creation of relevant and entertaining content
    Ability to provide guidance to staff of varying degrees of experience, and scaffold their development.
    Experience with audio production technology, software, production systems and reporting tools.
    Experience with Netia and Reaper an advantage.
