    Business Development Manager - IT Services

    Job Description

    Our company is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our IT Services team in Sydney. This newly created role offers the opportunity to be a true hunter and bring your Managed IT Services sales experience.

    The Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for meeting new business revenue and profit targets for FUJIFILM IT Services. Key responsibilities include developing a prospecting routine, actively managing and qualifying a robust opportunity pipeline, planning and implementing the sales process, providing timely and accurate sales forecasting, being a trusted advisor to prospects, and advising customers on efficient solutions.

    To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in IT new logo sales, including complex sales cycles and solutions selling. Previous experience in selling Managed IT Services is highly regarded. You should also have an understanding of the financial aspects of sales and be able to present financial business cases in proposals. Additionally, you will need to be skilled in rapport-building and responding effectively to individual customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Developing a prospecting routine including referrals, social media, thought leadership, outbound calling and event-based campaigns to deliver pipeline quota
    • Actively managing and qualifying a robust opportunity pipeline of new customers and/or new solutions
    • Planning and implementing the sales process for larger and more complex deals, owning the end-to-end sales cycle
    • Providing timely and accurate sales forecasting based on deep knowledge of the market and prospect base
    • Being a trusted advisor to prospects by delivering value and building a strong relationship
    • Advising customers of efficient, high quality and cost-effective solutions to meet their requirements

    Requirements:

    • Extensive experience in IT new logo sales including complex sales cycles and solutions selling
    • Previous experience in selling Managed IT Services will be highly regarded
    • Understanding of the financial aspects of sales, including presenting financial business cases in proposals
    • Ability to prepare and present successfully to customers at all levels, including C-suite
    • Highly skilled in rapport-building and responding effectively to individual customer needs
    • Understanding of customer drivers, including purchasing/decision processes
