    Description

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Remote Services Team in the Northern Territory.

You will have the opportunity to work with unique and diverse communities, providing capacity building supports in Central Australian schools, as well as services for children and families in remote communities and Darwin.

    About the Role

Our team collaborates closely with families and believes in the potential of every child and young person. Our model combines early childhood support, remote services, and family-centred therapy, making us leaders in paediatric services.

You will be supported by a dedicated administration team, allowing you to focus on your core responsibilities.

This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and a manageable workload with no more than 4 clients per day. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Deliver culturally sensitive, evidence-based therapy and capacity building supports for children and families.
    2. Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client supports.
    3. Offer a mix of capacity building, coaching, individual, and group therapy, education, consultation, and wrap-around supports.
    4. Sessions can be conducted in our clinic or at a location that suits the client's needs.

    What We Offer

    1. A competitive salary package, superannuation, and travel allowances.
    2. Ongoing supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
    3. Career progression opportunities through local and national training and collaboration.
    4. Annual professional development leave entitlement.
    5. Structured supervision and access to industry leaders.
    6. Flexible work arrangements.
    7. Paid parental leave and other benefits.

    Requirements

    1. Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
    2. Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
    3. Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA.
    4. Exceptional communication skills for working in a culturally diverse environment.
    5. Experience working with children and/or in the disability sector.
