    About the role

    We are currently seeking a Level 1 Registered Nurse with strong leadership and interest in career progression to join our leadership team as a Level 2 Registered Nurse on a permanent 0.8 FTE basis.

    Your main duties will include:

    • Provides advanced clinical care to patients based on best practice principles.
    • Acts as a clinical resource and problem solver for Registered and Enrolled nurses in the management of patient care.
    • Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, significant others and other health professionals. Acts as a client advocate, collaborating to achieve optimum health outcomes.
    • Promotes and participates in team building and decision-making.
    • Provides leadership and support on the ward as part of the current leadership team.

    About you

    • Recent experience in the nursing speciality related to the position, including relevant advanced clinical and problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collegiate team environment.
    • Demonstrates effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
    • Demonstrates application of human resource principles and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
