    The Role & Project

    MACA Interquip is currently seeking an experienced Project Mechanical Engineer for a full-time site-based position working a 8:6 roster (FIFO from Perth).

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Assisting Project Manager.
    • Overall project planning and scheduling.
    • Assist in managing project budget.
    • Ensuring the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
    • Provide daily progress reports to Project Manager.
    • Assist in formalising weekly / monthly reporting.
    • Monitoring work for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and codes.
    • Providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
    • Covering all areas of project management including Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
    • Problem solving with site personnel and Engineering Department or Subcontractor.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • Postgraduate degree in construction management (desirable).
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar role.
    • Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across:
    • OHS legislation and regulations.
    • Thorough knowledge of contractual and quality requirements and safety standards.
    • Thorough knowledge of standard and industry normal SMP construction processes and methodologies.
    • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
    • Effective organisation and planning skills.
    • Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
