    Job title: Guidance Counsellor

    School Counselors play a vital role in fostering the growth, well-being and resilience of all students. This is achieved through the application of guidance and counseling skills that contribute to equitable educational access, participation, and outcomes for every student.

    Job Requirements

    • To be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
    • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
    • To be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
    No formal qualifications at Degree level are required but holders should have relevant postgraduate experience.
    Counselors (Teachers) require registration with QCT full membership or general registration with Psychology Board
    Australia(AHPRA)or Australian Association Social Workers(AASW)
    Counselors(Non Teacher,Psihcologists or Social Workers)require general Registration AHPRA Membership Australian Association SW,AASW
