Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation
Building sustainable relationships, connections and trust with customers and experts through open and interactive communication
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflow
Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing
Resolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow ups to ensure resolution, customer record interactions and escalation
QualificationsExperience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regarded
Experience in utilising the AMA Guides and Work Cover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
