    The Role

    We seek an established leader to provide strategic direction to our Urban Development business in collaboration with the wider SMEC/SJ Group strategy. As Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistency and cohesion across our ANZ Urban Development business, growing the Buildings + Cities business line through optimal people, commercial, business development, client relationship management, and project performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ongoing development, direction, and delivery of the Strategic Action Plan for the Urban Development sector
    • Organic growth, capability development, strategic partnerships, and alliances
    • Profit and loss management on a global scale, ensuring capability development and mobilisation of resources

    The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane but will require regular travel.

    Your Qualifications

    • 20+ years in the industry with proven success in Senior Management roles with a focus on Urban Development
    • Background in either engineering, surveying, planning, or landscape architecture
    • Established industry profile and active involvement in industry associations
    • Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert business development advice

    Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per annum
