    Description

    A highly skilled pharmacist is sought to work within a team of specialists in the Correctional Primary Health Services. The role involves providing pharmacy services across correctional facilities, including clinical pharmacy, drug information, and medication education.

    The Role

    This is a fixed-term, casual position that requires dispensing and medication supply experience. You will work closely with prisoners, medical staff, and other health professionals to achieve the best possible quality use of medicines.

    • Assist in the coordination and provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service.
    • Provide clinical pharmacy, drug information, and medication education to clients and healthcare staff.
    • Dispense medications, including Webster packs, and conduct imprest reviews.

    Requirements

    • Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
    • Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
    • Current Driver's Licence (desirable).

    • Salary: $110,425 to $126,703 per annum (pro rata).
