Perkins Builders is now seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in the Balcatta Office and Perth Operations. The ideal candidate must have commercial construction experience, being responsible for preparing detailed estimates and tenders on high profile and diverse projects throughout Western Australia. Please only apply if you have experience working in the Commercial Construction Industry.

Estimator at Perkins will:

• Work autonomously and as part of a team to complete the entire tender process
• Create bills of quantities for the production of tenders, budgets and estimates
• Prepare subcontract tender package analysis
• Establish contract budgets
• Develop and grow relationships with our subcontractor base

To beconsidered for this role candidates must hold the following:

• Preferably, a minimum of three years estimating experience;
• Broad knowledge of the Perth construction industry and subcontractors;
• A degree in Construction Management and Economics or Builders Registration or Diploma of Building or a Carpentry Trade;
• The ability to interpret plans;
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
• Strong people skills, collaborative work approach;
• Cubit Pro, Excel and MS Project capabilities would be highly regarded;
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
