    Description

    We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and consistent reliability. In return, you will become a valued member of our longstanding family-owned Heavy Truck & Trailer repair workshop, serving our local community with mechanical expertise for over 50 years.

    Conveniently situated in Altona North with easy freeway access, our modern workshop specializes in servicing and repairing a diverse fleet of trucks and trailers for a broad national clientele.

    We are a VACC accredited workshop with a team of highly trained mechanics passionate about anything with an engine, using the latest diagnostic tools and genuine parts.

    We are seeking for the successful candidate to carry out/& assist in the repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles on a full-time basis.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    · Servicing, repairs & maintenance of heavy vehicles & trailers

    · Following company servicing schedules

    · Preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting

    · Handling breakdown repairs when needed

    · Maintaining accurate paperwork

    · Ensuring a safe and tidy workshop environment

    Our Criteria – Your Skills:

    · Hold a Diesel Mechanic qualification – Australian recognised

    · Competent work skills with a good knowledge base

    · Be a team player with a solid work ethic

    · Punctual and reliable

    · Abide by OH&S guidelines at all times in the workplace

    · Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision

    · Must provide own tools and have a current driver's license

    · Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
