A global financial giant in the investment space, my client is looking to bring in a Head of Architecture to create a stronger presence in Australia and continue to lead from the front.

Partnering closely and reporting to the International CTO, you will be an influence in the direction of the companies technical architecture and Cloud expertise

Key Responsibilities:
Lead & nurture a high performing architecture, as well as Cloud, practice comprising engaged and empowered employees.
Includes mentoring, training and hiring of appropriate skills.
Set the strategic direction for all architecture, an architecture that is scalable, adaptable, and synchronised with ever-changing business needs and the complexity of a modern digital business
Establish and refine transformational "ways of working" within the technology team
Engagement with key stakeholders to ensure architecture solutions meets business priorities and outcomes
Working with business areas on strategic imperatives to ensure they are defined and set up for success
Collaboration with the Global teams, to absorb growth tactics and/or add value to their processes

About You:
10+ years proven leadership experience in Architecture (and Cloud is a bonus)
Experience managing a portfolio size of $10 million+
Global exposure would be highly regarded
Experience leading large scale initiatives from ideation through to delivery
Cloud, at a high-level, is required (primarily in AWS)
Deep understanding of the Digital world, with the fast-paced pressuring environment to keep ahead
Management of architecture teams with a strong focus on the achievement of key deliverables with the ability to lead & coach technical teams and deliver business outcomes
A hunger for knowledge, attending conferences etc.
