    A well-funded ASX listed Battery Minerals focused company with progressed projects in Africa and associated plant in Europe is now looking for a Lead Health & Safety professional to join their team.

    Having recently completed their Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) on the Rare Earths mine development, this is an exceptional opportunity where you will be charged with ensuring an effective framework is developed and implemented - across diverse and, at times, challenging jurisdictions.

    Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for developing and influencing the overall corporate Health & Safety (H&S) and ESG frameworks.

    This will cover their local and global operations and developments, encompassing their flagship Rare Earths mine development in Africa, battery minerals separation plant in Europe and their growing corporate team here in Australia.

    This permanent opportunity is ideally based in the corporate head office in Melbourne and require travel, as required, to Europe and Africa.

    An attractive remuneration package including lucrative incentives is on offer.

    You will be tertiary qualified and have extensive experience in setting up H&S frameworks, both Corporate and Site-based in the relevant regions.

    You will also be expected to have a strong background in the mining and resources sector, including exposure to African operations and large-scale processing facilities and laboratories.

    Reporting and direct communications with a very wide range of local and international stakeholders will be a key part of the role.
