- Based Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility
- Initial 3 month contract
- Previous Government experience highly advantageous
- Co-ordinate and deliver high-quality financial accounting and taxation services through a shared services arrangement
- Prepare financial statements for multiple clients while maintaining effective tax compliance services
- Develop and implement strategies and processes, mentoring other staff to ensure the effective operation of general ledger in accordance with statutory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles
- Provide whole of government financial reporting
- Liaise with key government agencies regarding complex financial and taxation issues affecting various agencies
- Proven experience in coordinating and delivering high-quality financial accounting and taxation services
- Strong knowledge of preparing financial statements and maintaining tax compliance services for multiple clients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to provide effective accounting services
- Experience in developing strategies, implementing processes, and mentoring staff
- Knowledge of whole of government financial reporting systems
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with key government agencies on complex financial issues
