Specialist Surgeon/Surgical Registrar

At Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists (SVES), we are seeking a motivated and skilled Specialist Surgeon/Surgical Registrar to join our team in shaping the future of veterinary surgery.

SVES is a purpose-built, 1000m2 facility providing state-of-the-art technology and exceptional care. Our hospital is home to a dedicated and collaborative team of specialists, interns, and experienced nurses, all working towards a shared goal of clinical excellence.

We offer a wide range of specialist services including 24/7 emergency care, surgery, medicine, anaesthesia, imaging, and visiting dermatologists. Your Key Responsibilities

• Managing the surgical caseload in conjunction with the surgical team
• Collaborating with Specialists across other departments to provide patients and clients with the best care outcomes
• Providing mentoring and guidance to interns
• Offering orthopaedic, soft tissue, and emergency surgeries

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified Small Animal Specialist Surgeon who has achieved diplomate or equivalent status (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS) and is eligible for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council.
