    Seeking Software Engineers with Guidewire and leadership experience to work with our talented Insurance Technology Guidewire team.

    Great opportunity for a talented problem solver and a creative thinker Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne location with good WFH flexibility About the role We're on the lookout for a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire) to join our Insurance Technology team.

    The objective of the Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire) is to work with Tribe, Platform leaders and the Engineering Practice to design, develop and implement improvements to our capability in Engineering.

    This role encompasses systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support for Suncorp's Guidewire software, as well as coaching and mentoring junior Engineers.

    What you'll do Coach and mentor engineers to improve engineering capabilities and embed best practices Highly proficient in delivery of technical projects using Agile Prioritise and drive Automation in delivery Embed a Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops mindset and practices within the team Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards Develop a highly collaborative working relationship with delivery teams and stakeholders What you'll bring 6+ years software engineering experience with 2+ years of technical leadership Previous experience of coaching and mentoring engineers Proficiency in Guidewire Claim Center, Contact Manager, and Guidewire system/business frameworks Proficiency in developing integration solutions including Batch Processes, Message Queues and Event Messaging.

    Proven track record of integrating Claim Center with external systems Strong experience in development frameworks (Java/Spring/Spring Boot), Gosu(for Guidewire), Cloud (AWS/Azure), Databases (SQL/ORM/JDBC), REST APIs and Dev Ops.

    Proven Testing skills including ATDD and BDD.
