    The Role:

    Are you an Occupational Therapist with experience in subacute settings who is passionate about providing person-centred care? Do you have expertise in the area of neurology, orthopaedics and the NDIS? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the team at Northern Health.

    Based at Broadmeadows Hospital, this role is responsible for ensuring excellence in patient care, evidence-based practice, service improvement and risk management. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and intervention, and to assist with complex discharge planning.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Sound clinical skills in the area of rehabilitation, including neurological conditions and orthopaedics
  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Fully registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligible for membership with OT Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check VIC
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • A good working knowledge of community services
  • Commitment to lifelong learning
