    Role Introduction

    We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our Southwest Pacific Marketing Team located in Sydney.

    You will help with the execution of marketing and campaign activities alongside the Marketing Manager, Regional Head of Marketing, and our creative and media agencies. This role will see you working on B2C and B2B campaigns across paid channels and owned channels e.g. website/email content/social media as well as via partnerships, helping develop collateral for our trade agents and corporate clients.

    The main objectives of the Marketing team is to raise awareness and consideration of the Cathay Pacific brand in Australia and New Zealand, driving bookings for key destinations, and acquisition for our Loyalty Program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • A talented, proactive and motivated marketer who brings their passions and energy to their work
    • B2C and B2B Campaign experience – has managed paid campaigns and has an understanding of both offline and online channels. This involves assisting with brief writing for agencies, reviewing creative and media plans, liaising with internal stakeholders for reviews and insights, and helping collate post campaign reports
    • Commercially minded – has worked on campaigns that have driven a business outcome by achieving or exceeding targets, and is familiar with tracking campaign performance
    • A great communicator – is confident working with external agencies and internal stakeholders, both locally and sometimes with our Head Office team in Hong Kong
    • Has an eye for detail, is a brand guardian, and appreciates great creative work
    • Knows media – is across the latest trends in the digital world and the best ways to optimise activity
    • Can manage finances – ensuring POs are tracked, invoices are paid, and campaigns are kept to budget and timings
    • Passionate about the travel industry and takes great pride in their work
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital or advertising.
    • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, agency side or in house.
    • Experience working on integrated marketing campaigns with a focus on digital.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, digital platforms like Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign) and Google Analytics.
    • Stakeholder management – has worked with agencies and media partners.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a commercially focused environment.
    • Great written and oral skills, with a creative eye and attention to detail.
