    Your new role

    We have a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join the University Advancement Team as a Gift Services Coordinator.

    In this pivotal role, you will skilfully manage key responsibilities including invoice preparation, processing of high-volume donations, and meticulously ensuring accurate data entry into our CRM system, Raiser's Edge. Furthermore, you will be proficient in interpreting and analysing information to craft comprehensive acquittal reports.

    Collaborating closely with various teams across the University, including financial services, scholarships, faculty, and external stakeholders, you will foster strong relationships while maintaining strict compliance with relevant policies and legislation governing donation management.

    We are looking for someone with:
  • A personal passion for making a difference, who has previous experience in a similar role and a relevant qualification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles, concepts and practices as well as financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, displaying flexibility, initiative and decisiveness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with ability to draft clear, concise and professional documentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of people at all levels both within and external to Curtin.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and apply problem solving skills.
