    Position Summary:

  • A Domain Architect is typically assigned to a specific Sub-Domain under BSS in a single project or project release, assisting in the translation of requirements into a solution vision, system specifications, and implementation tasks in accordance with the overall IT strategy and architecture.
  • This role ensures all applications are compliant with open digital architecture, TMF and Open APIs for a given business problem using enterprise standards.

    • Mandatory Skills:

  • Hands-on experience working in digital transformation.
  • Good knowledge of working with Jira, Confluence, and other Design tools like , Visio etc.
  • Thorough understanding of open digital architecture, TMF Frameworks, Open APIs etc.
  • Experience of UML design principles.
  • Good knowledge of software principles and design experience with relevant platform.
  • Proven experience of working with technical teams. At all levels, from design through to development and implementation.
  • Able to coordinate design decisions for systems to be delivered by multiple suppliers, both internal and external.
  • Ability to lead design discussions with third party vendors.
  • Understanding of development methodology and software development.
  • IT related degree or similar, preferred.
  • Other IT industry qualifications and evidence of vocational training/experience.
  • Experience of designing solutions in a multi-tiered IT infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to make decisions on major technical and delivery issues.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills and is comfortable at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations.
  • A broad understanding across the whole of the software life cycle with a record of having applied the knowledge successfully in a variety of situations.

  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of software process models and quality assurance.

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

    Requirements Gathering and Documentation :

  • Gather, identify, and document business requirements for new systems and processes.
  • Create functional specifications based on these requirements.

    • Process Assessment and Improvement :

  • Assess existing processes (as-is) and perform gap analysis.
  • Design improved processes (to-be) and recommend changes to implement.

    • Technology Project Management :

  • Manage technology vendors and client stakeholders.
  • Handle large projects and programs in a multi-vendor scenario, leveraging Agile principles and applying DevOps capabilities.

    • Solution Design and Implementation :

  • Lead pursuits with telecom prospects, articulating unique value proposition through practical use cases.
  • Design and implement cutting-edge, client-specific solutions.
  • Develop business cases and IT strategies, considering tools and software for digital solutions.

    • Collaboration and Communication :

  • Work closely with client IT teams and business personnel to uncover opportunities and draw actionable insights.

    • Technology Leadership :

  • Provide technology and consulting leadership within and outside the firm.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in digital technologies, including Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Analytics, and IoT.

    • Salary Range: > $100,000
