    The Role:

    The Transport Allocator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of transportation activities, with a strong focus on customer and carrier satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented and customer-obsessed professional who will be responsible for optimising routes, managing carrier relationships, and continuously improving our transportation operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer-Centric Approach:

    • Understand and anticipate customer needs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates on shipments, address concerns, and gather feedback.

    Carrier Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable and efficient transportation services.
    • Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with carriers to optimise cost and service levels.

    Problem Solving:

    • Identify and address any issues or challenges in the transportation process promptly and effectively.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and prevent recurrence.

    • Proven experience in transportation management, with a focus on customer and carrier relations.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
