My client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Structures Foreman to join their team in Brisbane.

Position Overview:
As a Structures Foreman, you will oversee the structural foreman responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the construction process. Working closely with the project management team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating on-site activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including the installation of structural elements, to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Interpret drawings, engineering plans, and building codes to effectively execute construction tasks and resolve technical challenges.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures to promote a safe and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address design modifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage material procurement, inventory control, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and minimize waste.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Structures Foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry. (3 + years)
• QBCC Open Builders (preferred)
• Apartment experience is highly valued
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
